Hello! Welcome to my Yoga Nidra page. I'm slowly putting together a bank of recordings you can listen to for free, in the comfort of your own home, to help you slow down, relax and feel a little bit more grounded. What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, sometimes called Yogic Sleep, is a guided relaxation practice that helps you to explore the state between being awake and being asleep. The purpose is to allow your body to rest really deeply and intentionally, so that your thoughts quieten down, your muscles relax, and your awareness expands.

Possible benefits: reduced stress and anxiety, more restful sleep, improved mood, sharper focus/clarity, increase in energy and more self-awareness. 

Please note: there’s no failure in Yoga Nidra - sometimes it’ll feel amazing and easy to switch off, and sometimes you may be lying there feeling restless with a head full of thoughts. That is absolutely okay and still a really valid experience - you’re still giving your mind a bit of space, and you’re giving your body much needed, intentional rest.
